Task type allows you to group tasks of a similar type. For example, both hardware maintenance activity and database maintenance tasks can be grouped into a common type. You can create custom task types.
To create a new task type:
1. Go to Admin>>HelpDesk Customizer>>Task Types.
2. Click Add New Task Type to go to the relevant form.
3. Now, provide Name, Description, and define a color code. You can mark the task type as inactive by selecting the Inactive checkbox.
4. Finally, click Save.
View, edit, or delete task types
All task types are listed under the task type configuration page. To access it, go to Admin>>HelpDesk Customizer>>Task Type.
To view or edit a task type, click the name or edit icon. To edit, make necessary changes and click Save.
To delete task types, select one or more task types using the checkboxes and click Delete.
