Backup Scheduling

SupportCenter Plus allows you to schedule a periodic backup of the application. This is an application-wide configuration.

 

To schedule a backup: 

    1. Go to Admin>>General Settings>>Backup Scheduling (if only one portal is configured) or go to Global Settings>>General Settings>>Backup Scheduling (if multiple portals are configured).

    2. Click Edit Scheduling to open backup scheduling form and provide the following details using relevant options. 

      • Set backup frequency in days.

      • Set start date and time

      • Select users to be notified for failure and password updates.

      • Choose backup options: Database or File Attachments.

      • Set backup password

      • Set backup location

      • Set backup retention days

         3. Finally, click Save.

 

  1. Backup scheduling is enabled by default.
  2. To disable the backup schedule, click Edit Scheduling and then select Disable. 

 

View or Delete Backup Files 

  • All back up files are listed under backup configuration page. To access it, go to Admin>>General Settings>>Backup Scheduling (if only one portal is configured) or go to Global Settings>>General Settings>>Backup Scheduling (if multiple portals are configured).

  • To delete the backup files, select one or more files and then click Delete.
